Some people on the journey of discipleship and simple church have developed such a passion for what they read in the New Testament, that their tone can be taken wrong as critical against the more traditional church model. There are those who having experienced deep hurt in the normal community church and mega churches structures, who are in need of forgiveness and healing. We want to state that if either of these attitudes comes through in any of these books, it is not a reflection on our heart and view of the church! We love the “whole” church, in the context of those who are steadfast to Bible believing and focus on relationship with God!

Our passion for discipleship and simple churches does reflect certain beliefs we have about what the church can look like. Being for something will result in us saying no to certain things, but that does not mean we are against someone doing church differently than the way we do. In fact, we are so thankful for the influence of relationships we have had over the years throughout a variety of church structures and denominations. Our heart for the church is that whatever shape and size it may come in that it becomes more of the bride made ready for the return of Jesus and to make disciples of all nations!
